When you miss a planned run, you feel like…

I completely agree with every piece of information in this chart. It’s amazing how missing a run can totally throw you off mentally. Since the marathon, (if you’re wondering, this is how it feels to complete one) I have had to take some time to rest my knee - and, yes, I should have gone to the doctor by now - so that it will hopefully not be a long-term injury. I feel totally and completely like a waste of flipping space. 

Because of my current lack of exercise, I’ve made a promise to myself that each night I will complete 200 crunches and increase the number of push-ups (let’s get serious, I have no upper-body strength; I’ll start at ground zero) gradually each day. So far, so good. 

I am also trying really hard to be careful what I’m eating, now that I’m not running crazy miles each week. But, again, let’s get serious - I am still eating like a monster and it is nearly impossible to train my body to cut back in portions.
