Today marks the beginning of our Biggest Loser competition at work.

This program is part of a partnership between my company, Hill Holliday, and a fitness center nearby, Equinox. I’ll be the first to admit that my initial attraction to this program was all about the free fitness classes. But after our first meeting, and hearing from the Equinox professionals, I’m excited to learn more about what it means to actually be healthy.
While I will be doing my fair share of running over the course of the next few months, I figure this program will get me more in-line with the nutrition and weight-training I should also be focusing on. [Receiving a free consultation never hurts!]
This program seems to focus on all the right things: loss of body fat, not just weight loss. So while I may not be anywhere near having the opportunity to take home the gold in this competition, I am sure I’ll learn a few things along the way, and who knows - maybe I’ll lose some body fat along the way…
Has anyone out there ever participated in a ‘Biggest Loser’ competition?
