I came across this quote and it made me feel good, so I thought I’d share.
Directly related: My goal for today was to run 10 miles. 10! Should be easy after the 13.2 I ran last week, right? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
I’ve been out of the game for a week, and yes, expected a little bit of difficulty today…but there was a whole lot of difficulty going on today. A whole lot.
My 10 miles were completed (in some way not known to me), but my pace and time were shot. I’m pretty sure I haven’t fully recovered from whatever silliness I was dealing with earlier this week. In any event, I’m hoping I can clean up my act and get back to business, because it only gets harder from here, right?
[Sidenote: I did, however, find some enjoyment in running with the snowflakes today. Never thought I’d say that. Ever.]
